Song(s) of the Week 10

WOW! What a great weekend we had in Pamplona with PNASwing!!! (Photos here). By far and away the standout track over the weekend that people asked about the most was by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Janglin’ is a song full of life, rhythm, bounce and a feel good attitude to life ….. and is sure to leave a smile on your face!! It definitely did when it was played at the Saturday night party 🙂

The song (and lots more by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) can be found on their website – with lots of videos and info- and on Soundcloud.

Other songs which we used in Lindyhop, Balboa and Blues classes that people (mostly Andrés!) were interested in over the weekend included the following:

Les Haricots Rouge – I’m On My Way From You

The Dutch Swing College Band – Some Of These Days

Sidney Bechet – Summertime

Southside Aces – Back to Black

Lionel Hampton – Lavender Coffin

and tracks by Tuba Skinny, Erroll Garner, Lionel Hampton, Andy Kirk and more!!!
